Hi! I am Geetha
Gururaj, principal architect of Flora-Arcade Consultancy (FAC) based in Bangalore.
I have been a free-lance Architect handling Architectural, Interior Design
& Landscape projects for over nine years.
My father Mr.Gururaj
is the Horticulture/Landscape consultant of FAC, with more than forty years of
experience in ornamental horticulture and landscaping.
We are one
of the eight short listed empanelled Landscape Architects with Bangalore
Mahanagar Palikae for the design and development of gardens and parks
in and around Bangalore.
We are
presently consulting Landscape Architects for M/S Karekar and associates,
Mallikarjuna architects, Bangalore and a consulting Architect and interiors
designer for M/S Murugesan Consultants Bangalore.

with an MNC for a proposed Resort at Jog Falls.

GPO, Bangalore in 1996 with a project cost of Rs. 6.5 lakhs.

JINDAL (JTPCL) garden layout
for the housing cluster designed by the renowned Goa based Architect Gerard -
Da- Cunha at Thoranagallu Bellary Dist. with a project cost of Rs. 10 lakhs.

Design layouts and execution of many projects for NRI`s
residence at Jayanagar, Sadashivnagar, Apartments at Malleshwaram.

The garden layout for guesthouse at Indian Statistical
Institute (ISI), Bangalore.

Presently working on Sadashivnagar low-lying park,

While working as Project Architect at M/s SRUJAN
ARCHITECTS during 1998, was responsible for designing the library block for
VIT college campus.

As Project Architect at M/s KAREKAR ASSOCIATES,
1999-2000, responsible for designing and executing of the Hostel block for ISI
(Indian Statistical Institute), Bangalore.
Architecture
and Interiors projects[1]:
1. Presently
associated as Consulting Architect and Interior designer with HAL
Corporate Office, Bangalore for their boardroom interior works which
also includes Boardroom integration. The latter integrates the Audio Video and
Tele conferencing, addressing systems, Lighting, projector/motorized screen,
fire alarm system and AC.
2. Presently
consulting as Architectural, Interior, and Landscape specialists for JINDAL,
Bangalore in the design of their prestigious project on INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
AND CONVENTION CENTRE for 5000 people.
3. Residential
bungalows at Bangalore, Chintamani, for clients at Bangalore, Madras with a built up area ranging between 1400sq. ft
to 4000sq.ft. Our major clients for residential architecture and interior works

Extension of structures with face-lifts on existing elevation and kitchen
alteration to facilitate modern day living. Our Interior works involve design
and execution by our own sub-contractors for offices and residences.
9. Apart from
this, our 16,000sq. Interior design proposal for Adamya software technologies
in Bangalore found overwhelming appreciation but, however the project which is
temporarily shelved due to the economic recession that has hit the IT industry.
10. We have
won the Best Designer Award for an exhibition stall measuring 60’x40’
which we also executed on a turnkey basis during ‘Ripples consumer fair’
in OCT. 2001. This stall was used in Goa and Chennai earlier this year, and was
much appreciated there too.
11. We are one
of the major contenders for the interior works at HAL Bangalore Complex,
Bangalore. The final result is awaited.
12. Office
interiors (Executive cabin) for New India electricals, Bangalore.
